Current situation is getting from bad to worse. With localites doing whatever they wish. Though CRPF and J&K police have been deployed, it seems unlikely for situation to get better. As per sources, J&K police is solely with localites. They do whatever they wish, throw tear gas whenever they want, beat non locals and what not. The J&K students moved even a step further. They went to rooms in hostel to beat students up. Media is barred from entering the campus. Director is also afraid as name of college would get ruined(also he might be afraid).
There was college shut down for 3 days and when the college reopened, very few attended(almost all Kashmiri students). Situations is very pathetic. Kashmiri Professors are threatening to fail non Kashmiri students thus ruining their career.
Is it fair that guy who raised anti-India slogan is getting security, publicity and fame and students who are proud of their nation, their motherland are suffering? And worse, no one is listening.
Though students have tried their best in every way they could to let their voices heard, approaching every social media platform(twitter, facebook), tried to reach every publishing house, this is not enough. We need to support them, we need to stand by them.
